Role Overview: Hire Controller
We are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Hire Controller at our Avonmouth depot. As a Hire Controller, you will be at the very heart of our operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and playing a crucial role in our continued success. This is a fast-paced and rewarding position for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, thrives under pressure, and is eager to proactively engage with clients to meet their evolving needs.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities

Champion exceptional customer experiences, serving as the primary point of contact for all hire enquiries.

Accurately prepare and manage hire contracts, quotations, and essential correspondence.

Proactively handle and record customer enquiries, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Diligently follow up on all quotations and enquiries to maximise conversion rates.

Prepare precise weekly and monthly reports to support operational decision-making.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail. You will demonstrate a strong ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise a busy workload, showcasing strong numerical and IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Previous experience as a Hire Controller or in a similar customer-facing, fast-paced role within the hire industry is highly advantageous.
