Dyletswyddau’r Swydd:
Bod yn atebol i Bwyllgor Rheoli’r Cylch am gyflawni’r dyletswyddau canlynol.
Y Gwasanaeth:
- Ysgwyddo cyfrifoldeb am sicrhau bod y cylch yn darparu gwasanaeth o ragoriaeth gan ddatblygu gweithgareddau a chyfleusterau i’w llawn botensial.
- Rhannu’r cyfrifoldeb o fod yn Unigolyn Cyfrifol y Cylch Meithrin gydag ymddiriedolwr y cylch
- Sicrhau fod pob plentyn yn derbyn gofal o’r safon uchaf ac yn derbyn sylw gofalgar, prydlon a chynhwysol
- Sicrhau fod pob plentyn a’u teulu’n cael eu trin gyda pharch gan gwrdd ag anghenion cymdeithasol ac emosiynol y plant
- Sicrhau darpariaeth ddigonol o adnoddau amrywiol sy’n addas i oedran y plant er mwyn hybu eu datblygiadau

Iechyd a Diogelwch a rheoliadau :

Duties of the Role:
The post holder will be responsible to the Cylch’s Management Committee for performing the following duties.
The Service:
- · Assume responsibility for ensuring that the cylch provides a service of excellence by developing activities and facilities to their full potential.
- · Assume shared responsibility as the named Responsible Individual with a member of the Committee
- · Ensure that every child receives care of the highest standard and is given attentive, caring and inclusive attention
- · Ensure that every child and their family are treated with respect while meeting the children’s social and emotional needs
- · Ensure adequate provision of diverse, age-appropriate resources suitable to promote the children’s development
- · Lead the work of developing the learning and teaching of the Curriculum for Wales.
- · Collaborate with the team to plan experiences and activities that will meet the needs of each child and enable them to develop to their full potential
- · Ensure that outdoor play activities are provided that promote physical and social development and nurture children's awareness of their environment
- · Establish and implement an effective system for observing and recording the progress and development of each child
- · Ensure that Welsh is the medium of every activity and that staff implement the Immersion Method throughout the cycle
- · Serve as a point of contact for parents by handling enquiries or complaints
- · Follow and implement all the cylch’s procedures and policies and ensure that staff comply with those requirements.
- · Establish and implement systems to monitor and evaluate the quality of service for children and their parents
- · Promote equality and inclusion, reject prejudice, and address issues in accordance with the Equality and Diversity Policy
Lead and support a team of staff, ensuring the following:
- · Provide line management to all Cylch staff
- · Handle any issues raised by staff
- · Hold regular meetings with staff
- · Conduct appraisal meetings and staff supervision by developing appropriate schemes of work
- · Ensure professional practice and attitudes
- · Discuss individual staff training needs regularly and arrange a programme of relevant training in consultation.
Health and Safety and regulations:
- · Bear responsibility for all aspects of child safeguarding/protection, working with statutory agencies, and attending case conferences where necessary.
- · Ensure that staff follow Child Protection policies and procedures
- · Ensure that the setting complies with National Minimum Standards and CIW Regulations,
- · If the setting is a Flying Start provider, comply with all Flying Start requirements
- · Lead the team through Care Inspectorate Wales inspections, ESTYN and relevant excellence schemes.
- · Establish and maintain relationships with professional workers and partners
- Handle the nursery's daily financial matters with the support of the Treasurer, including invoicing.Collaborate with the committee to keep documents up to date e.g. Business Plan, Action Plan, Statement of purpose and Policies.
- Support the cylch's fundraising activitiesUndertake any additional duties relevant to the post or as directed by the Committee
Pay: £16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 37.5 per week
