The welcome every pet deserves
Salary: £26,436.80 per annum * Contract: Permanent * Working hours: 40 hours per week. Including Weekend Rota * Location: Sevenoaks, TN13 * Closing Date: 30 June 2026, midday
Do you love animals — and the people who love them? Are you the kind of person who makes others feel at ease the moment they walk through the door? If so, we want to hear from you. This is your chance to join something genuinely special.
A Bit About Us
We’re independent and under clinical leadership — not bound by big corporate policy. Our hybrid model means referral-level care alongside first opinion, and many referral-level surgical pathways are now standard for first opinion patients too. If you want to do something differently, we can have that conversation. No multi-layered approval chain, no being treated like you can’t be trusted with grown-up decisions.
We’re a team of people who genuinely care — about animals, about our clients, and about each other. Every single person here has a stake in the practice, which means everyone pulls together and takes pride in what we do.
The Role
Every great practice starts at the front desk
We’re looking for a brilliant Client Care Advisor to join our Sevenoaks group. You’ll be the first face our clients see and the first voice they hear — and that moment matters enormously. Whether it’s a worried owner rushing in with their dog, or someone calling to book a routine check-up for their cat, you’ll set the tone for the whole experience.
At Pennard Vets, we believe every pet deserves the right care, in the right way, at the right time. As a Client Care Advisor, you’re not just answering phones — you’re a vital part of making that happen.
What your days will look like
- Welcoming clients and their pets — from nervous first-timers to familiar faces — and making sure everyone feels calm and looked after from the moment they arrive.
- Taking calls from pet owners — some routine, some anxious — and handling every single one with warmth, patience, and good judgement.
- Managing appointments and keeping the clinical team running smoothly, so every pet is seen at the right time by the right person.
- Responding to online queries and keeping client communication clear, timely, and genuinely helpful.
- Being part of a busy, energetic practice team where no two days are the same — and where what you do makes a real difference to animals and their owners.
You’ll Fit Right In If You…
What we really need is someone who is naturally warm and friendly, a great communicator, and calm when things get busy. You’ll thrive here if you’re the kind of person who genuinely enjoys helping others, takes ownership of their work, and cares about getting things right.
We’ll give you everything you need to hit the ground running — full training, a brilliant team around you, and all the support you need to grow in the role. The rest is down to you bringing your personality and passion for great client care.
