Full job description

Part Time Office Administrator/Receptionist.

Location: Bideford, N.Devon.

Salary: Meets NMW - dependent on experience.

We are looking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in providing efficient administrative support within a busy office environment.

Previous accounts experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Task will include but are not limited too;

General office duties.
Answering the phone and taking messages.
Liaising with suppliers and maintaining positive working relationships.
Processing orders / Raising Purchase orders and dealing with suppliers.
Filling documents in an organised and efficient manner.
Supporting the main office with a variety of general administrative tasks.
Inputting data such as time records to our bespoke software.
Excellent IT skills and attention to detail is a must.
Excellent customer service and telephone manner is a must.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment and multitask.
Salary will be dependent on experience.
Working hours are Wednesday – Thursday 9am-4pm and Friday 9am-1pm - (Negotiable for the right candidate).
Experience of working in an engineering environment would be an advantage.
Accounts and payroll experience would be advantageous.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
A positive and professional attitude.
Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous administrative experience (preferred but not essential).
