As part of the Ropsley Group, we are investing significantly in our manufacturing capability and are seeking an exceptional Manufacturing Director to lead the next phase of our operational development.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Manufacturing Director will provide strategic leadership across multiple manufacturing sites, taking overall responsibility for manufacturing performance, operational excellence and organisational capability.
This is a highly influential executive role where you will develop and deliver the manufacturing strategy, improve operational performance and build the systems, processes and leadership capability required to support ambitious growth plans.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure our manufacturing operations continue to deliver the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, customer satisfaction and commercial performance.
- Develop and deliver the Group Manufacturing Strategy across multiple manufacturing sites.

Lead manufacturing operations to achieve world-class standards of safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead business transformation programmes, improving productivity, efficiency and manufacturing capability.

Develop high-performing leadership teams through coaching, mentoring and succession planning.

Manage manufacturing budgets and capital investment programmes to maximise commercial performance.

Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.

Work collaboratively with Engineering, Commercial, Projects and Supply Chain functions to deliver successful customer outcomes.

Provide strategic leadership as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
You will be an accomplished manufacturing leader with significant experience operating within engineering, fabrication or heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
You will have a proven track record of delivering operational improvement, leading organisational change and developing high-performing teams across complex manufacturing operations.
