Full job description

Warehouse Operative

Location: Disley, Cheshire (SK12 2DA)
Pay: £12.71 per hour (£13.71 for night shifts during peak season)
Contract: Zero-hour (typically 40 hrs/week), 7-day rotating rota including weekends and bank holidays

The Role

We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse Operative to join our busy clothing retail warehouse. You'll handle picking, packing, goods-in, stock control, and returns processing, helping keep our fast-paced operation running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Pick and pack customer orders accurately using handheld scanners and picking trolleys, placing completed orders into the correct York (cage) or courier collection area
Receive, check, and put away incoming deliveries (lifting up to 20kg)
Move stock between storage and pick-face locations, keeping the WMS updated
Process customer returns, inspecting and re-bagging items for resale
Carry out general warehouse housekeeping and support the wider team as needed

What We're Looking For

WMS/scanner experience desirable but not essential
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Able to lift and move stock safely (up to 20kg)
Team player with a solid understanding of health & safety practices
