Job Overview
We are seeking a professional, organised, and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience while ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the hospitality industry within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly on arrival and ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process
Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest enquiries in a professional manner
Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
Handle reservations administration tasks efficiently
Manage bookings using hotel management systems and online platforms
Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
Coordinate with other departments effectively
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area at all times

Qualifications & Skills

Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude
Previous experience in a hotel or customer-facing role is preferred
Previous experience working in food and beverage preferred but necessary
Familiarity with OPERA 5.6 is preferred but not necessary
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional telephone manner and customer service approach
Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations and guest information
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: £27,476.80 per year
