We’re looking for a Paid Ads Specialist who enjoys taking responsibility for their work and wants to contribute directly to campaign success.
Job summary
This role is ideal for someone with some hands-on experience in paid advertising who is looking to take on more campaigns and build greater ownership of client accounts.
You’ll manage and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads, working with a range of clients to improve performance and deliver measurable results.
This role suits someone who enjoys working with data, can confidently manage live campaigns for their client.
You’ll have support where needed, but you’ll also be trusted with your own selection of campaigns.
Role and responsibilities
· Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads.
· Take ownership of assigned client accounts and campaign performance.
· Conduct keyword, audience and competitor research to identify growth opportunities.
· Analyse performance data and implement improvements to increase ROI.
· Build and test ad copy, creatives and campaign variations.
· Produce clear, insightful reports for clients with recommendations.
· Monitor budgets, bids and performance trends to maximise efficiency.
· Work with landing pages and websites to improve conversion rates.
· Stay up to date with platform changes, industry trends and new opportunities.
· Support the wider team and share knowledge where appropriate.
Essential skills
· Some practical experience managing or supporting paid advertising campaigns.
· Understanding of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads or Meta Ads platforms.
· Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data.
· Ability to interpret performance metrics and act on insights.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· High attention to detail.
· Organised and able to manage multiple campaigns or tasks.
· Proactive mindset with ability to work independently.
Desirable skills
· Experience managing live campaigns.
· Understanding of Google Analytics / GA4.
· Experience with conversion tracking and optimisation.
· Knowledge of PPC best practices across search and paid social.
· Experience using WordPress or landing page builders.
· Google Ads certifications or equivalent training.
· Experience with reporting tools or dashboards.
Qualifications
· GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
· Digital marketing, business, media or related studies are beneficial but not essential.
