Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Self employed CLASS 1/ ARCTIC/ LOW LOADER/ TIPPER TRAILER Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes. This role requires a professional attitude, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various types of vehicles, including Low loader. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting our operational needs with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. This will be Full time ongoing work with over-time available if interested

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
Deliver goods to clients promptly while maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met.
Communicate effectively with clients, Transport manager and other drivers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes.
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle throughout shifts.
Follow all health and safety procedures to minimise risks during transportation activities.

Qualifications

Proven minimum 2 years experience
Valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle type, including valid CPC
Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is advantage
Must have at least 2 years Low loader experience
Strong communication skills
Prior understanding loading/unloading procedures.

Pay: £200.00 per day

Category C1E Driving Licence (required)

United Kingdom (required)

Location:

Chadwell St Mary RM16 4LR (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

100% (preferred)
