Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organisation across various premises, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a professional attitude. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers paid employment with opportunities for growth within the organisation.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and other sanitary fixtures to high standards
Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required by clients or management

Skills

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact professionally with clients and team members
Customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable manner
Valid driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between sites
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes

This position is suitable for individuals who are organised, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Previous experience in cleaning or customer service roles is beneficial but not mandatory. All applicants must be able to communicate effectively and demonstrate reliability in their work.
