Assistant Manager (Insurance – Property Owners and Caravans)
Location: Southend On Sea

The Role
We are looking for an experienced insurance professional who is looking to take the next step in their development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and other departments of the business.
- Negotiate terms and obtain competitive quotations
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance
- Manage your own workload and priorities effectively to be able to delegate and distribute work
- Identify opportunities to enhance client cover and retention
What we're looking for
Essential
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an insurance broking environment
- Strong working knowledge of property owners
- Confident in dealing directly with clients
- Ability to manage cases independently
- Proven ability to support, motivate, and develop people
Desirable
- Experience in a leadership, supervisory, or management role within insurance
- Cert CII, Dip CII, or working towards professional qualifications
- Experience managing performance, recruitment, or training
- Knowledge of Open GI or similar broking systems
