RTR Group is a well-established Building and Property Services company operating across Essex, Kent and throughout the UK.
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Coordinator with strong property maintenance and voids experience to join our growing Maintenance Team.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of void property maintenance, reactive repairs and refurbishment works, with proven experience coordinating jobs from instruction through to completion.
Working closely with the Planned Works Supervisor, Managers, Senior Maintenance Coordinators and Schedulers, you will help coordinate engineers and subcontractors, communicate with clients and landlords, monitor job progress and ensure works are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Planned Works Supervisor to coordinate and monitor planned and void works.
- Coordinate void and general property maintenance works from instruction to completion.
- Liaise with clients, landlords, tenants, engineers and subcontractors.
- Monitor job progress, timescales and outstanding works.
- Obtain photographs, reports and information required for quotations.
- Prepare, submit and follow up quotations.
- Coordinate engineers and subcontractors and assist with scheduling workloads.
- Order materials and liaise with suppliers.
- Ensure job records, photographs, reports and completion information are accurate and up to date.
- Identify and resolve issues or delays quickly and effectively.
- Use company maintenance and job management systems.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in property maintenance, with extensive experience of voids.
- Good understanding of void property, reactive maintenance and refurbishment works.
- Experience coordinating engineers and subcontractors.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and competing priorities.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
- Able to work under pressure, take ownership and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with landlords, housing providers or property management companies would be advantageous.

You will be proactive, organised and commercially aware, with the experience and initiative to identify problems and find practical solutions.
