Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Coach/Bus Driver and become a vital part of delivering safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely across designated routes while maintaining excellent communication and customer service. Your expertise in driving, mechanical knowledge, and maintenance skills will ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for all riders. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving talents and contribute to community mobility.

Responsibilities

Safely operate coaches or buses along assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, mechanical integrity, and cleanliness
Communicate clearly with passengers, providing route information and addressing questions or concerns
Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs
Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or report issues promptly to ensure optimal performance
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those with special needs or mobility challenges
Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures to protect passengers and yourself at all times

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and minor repairs
Proven commercial driving experience with a valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent certification
Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members
Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role is highly desirable
Solid driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence
Ability to handle routine maintenance tasks and identify mechanical issues early
Good understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route navigation techniques
