About Effective Payroll Solutions Ltd

Location: Pontypridd, South Wales
Hours: 21 hours per week (working pattern to be agreed)
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications

Effective Payroll Solutions Ltd is a well-established and expanding payroll bureau providing outsourced payroll services to over 230 clients across a wide range of business sectors. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Payroll Bureau Administrator to join our friendly and professional payroll team based in Pontypridd.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within payroll. Full training will be provided and, as the business continues to grow, there may be opportunities for increased hours and a future full-time position.

About the Role

You will become part of a dedicated payroll team providing payroll services to businesses throughout South Wales and beyond.

The role offers exposure to all aspects of a modern payroll bureau, including payroll processing, client support, pension administration and general office administration.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payrolls.
Communicating with clients by telephone, email and in person.
Responding to payroll-related queries.
Pension administration and pension data submissions.
General office administration.
Assisting with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.

As your experience develops, you will take responsibility for managing your own portfolio of payroll clients.

About You

Previous office or administrative experience would be advantageous. Whilst payroll experience would be beneficial, it is not essential, as full training will be provided.

We are looking for someone who:

Has good I.T and Microsoft Office skills.
Enjoys working with clients and providing excellent customer service.
Has good written and verbal communication skills.
Possesses strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Can work effectively as part of a team whilst also using their own initiative.

Qualifications

A-Level standard education or equivalent is preferred.
