Full job description

We are an independent pharmacy based in Cwmbran, known for superb customer service . An exciting opportunity has become available to be part of our highly efficient team as a Pharmacy technician (ACT). Candidate must be flexible to work Monday to Friday 09am to 630pm . Only NVQ 3 qualified PHARMACY TECHNICIAN candidates are welcome to apply. Excellent renumeration package for the right candidate. Private pension scheme and staff discount for all employees. Responsibilities

Assist in providing patient care by accurately dispensing, checking medications and ensuring proper medication administration.
Maintain inventory levels and manage stock of pharmaceutical supplies.
Collaborate with pharmacists to verify prescriptions and resolve any discrepancies.
Educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects.
Uphold safety and regulatory standards within the pharmacy environment.
Support the pharmacy team in daily operations and patient interactions.
To provide patient services under CAS as per ABUHB Guidelines

Qualifications

Proven experience as a pharmacy technician
Must hold current registration with GPhC as a pharmacy technician
Strong patient care skills with a focus on customer service
Proficiency in medication administration and handling
Familiarity with pharmacy software and inventory management
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £16.50-£20.00 per hour
