Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Steel Fixer Labourer operating under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) as a self-employed professional. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse building projects, focusing on the installation and reinforcement of steel frameworks. You will play a vital part in ensuring structural integrity and safety while collaborating with skilled tradespeople. We value energetic, motivated individuals eager to contribute to high-quality construction outcomes and grow their expertise in the industry.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and assembly of steel reinforcement components for concrete structures
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to cut, bend, and position steel bars and mesh accurately
Support the installation of steel frameworks according to project specifications and safety standards
Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials around the site efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity
Follow instructions from supervisors and coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines
Support masonry, carpentry, roofing, or other trades as needed during construction phases

Must have in date CSCS card Steel toe cap boots.

Experience:

Steel erecting : 2 years (required)

Work Location: On the road
