Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and optimise the daily functions of our fulfilment centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, ensuring efficient logistics, and driving continuous process improvements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team within a fast-paced e-commerce environment, ensuring seamless order processing and delivery. The ideal applicant will possess strong supervisory skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management systems.

Duties

Lead and supervise warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
Manage Ebay, Amazon Etsy inventory listing and marketing.
Manage warehouse workflows using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems to optimise productivity and accuracy.
Oversee transportation management systems (TMS) to coordinate inbound and outbound logistics efficiently.
Monitor stock levels, perform regular audits, and coordinate with suppliers and 3PL providers to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Implement process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the safe operation of forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment.
Oversee shipping & receiving procedures, ensuring timely dispatches and deliveries in line with customer expectations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support supply chain optimisation and continuous improvement strategies.
Maintain detailed records of warehouse activities, including profit & loss analysis related to operational costs.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
Amazon and ebay system familiarities preferred,
Strong understanding of profit & loss management related to warehouse operations.
Extensive knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and transportation management systems (TMS).
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems platforms.
Skilled in shipping & receiving procedures, inventory control, and warehouse safety protocols.
Ability to operate forklifts safely; relevant certification is preferred.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about streamlining ecommerce warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Pay: £30,993.55-£46,671.24 per year
