Overview

We are seeking an energetic and visionary Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic software development teams. In this pivotal role, you will drive innovative application development, oversee complex system design, and manage large-scale projects across cloud computing platforms. Responsibilities

Lead and mentor multiple software engineering teams focused on application development, system design, and cloud infrastructure management.
Oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring adherence to best practices, quality standards, and security protocols aligned with NIST standards.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets while coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions on schedule.
Drive the adoption of DevOps practices to streamline deployment pipelines, automate testing, and enhance system reliability across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, develop strategic roadmaps, and implement scalable architectures utilizing technologies such as.NET, Java, Python, Angular, React, Node.js, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and AI/ML frameworks.
Ensure robust system security by implementing network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, DNS management, and intrusion detection systems; monitor for vulnerabilities and respond effectively.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing system performance metrics and leading disaster recovery planning to ensure high availability and business continuity.

Requirements

Proven experience managing large-scale software development projects with a focus on application development in cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams while promoting collaboration and innovation.
Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure including network security (firewalls, VPNs), system administration (Active Directory, vSphere), virtualization (SAN, VMware), and server management.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, PHP; experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, ReactJS; backend expertise with APIs and server-side scripting.
Deep understanding of DevOps practices—CI/CD pipelines—and tools that support automation within cloud computing frameworks.
Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP systems and data warehouses; experience integrating multiple data sources using SQL Server or Oracle databases.
Strong analysis skills combined with excellent communication abilities to translate complex technical concepts into clear strategies for stakeholders.
Knowledge of network infrastructure components including LAN/WAN configurations like MPLS or MPLS VPNs; experience with disaster recovery planning aligned with NIST standards.
