Part-Time Customer Service Advisor

Location: Budds Lane Industrial Park, Romsey

Hours: 3 days per week – Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organised Part-Time Customer Service Advisor to join our team. This varied role combines customer service, administration, credit control and data management responsibilities. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Handling incoming telephone enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Providing excellent customer service and resolving customer queries efficiently.
Assisting with credit control activities, including following up outstanding payments.
Accurate data entry and maintenance of customer records within our CRM system.
Using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook, to support daily operations.
Carrying out general administrative duties as required.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is updated promptly.
Supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth running of the office.

Skills and Experience Required

Previous customer service and administration experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience using CRM systems, Xero and Microsoft Office Suite would be advantageous.
Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
Professional, friendly and customer-focused approach.
Raising purchase orders through Xero

Working Hours

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
9:00am – 5:00pm
1 hour unpaid lunch break

Additional Requirements

The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work additional hours when required to provide holiday and sickness cover for colleagues.
