Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Administrative Assistant to join our expanding team. This role involves providing essential administrative support within a busy medical practice, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent patient service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient interactions. Previous office experience and administrative expertise are highly desirable for this position.

Responsibilities

Managing patient appointments and scheduling consultations efficiently
Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems
Handling incoming calls, messages, and correspondence professionally
Processing billing, insurance claims, and payments accurately
Coordinating with medical staff to ensure timely flow of information and documentation
Organising administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
Supporting the team with general office duties to promote a welcoming environment

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational abilities
Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in using office software such as MS Office Suite and electronic health record systems
Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Compassionate attitude with a professional demeanour
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
