Chef/Baker – Full Time | La Maison Bakery & Bistro, Ledbury

La Maison Bakery & Bistro in Ledbury, Herefordshire is looking for a passionate Chef/Baker to join our small, friendly team. We're owned and operated by Jon Hamilton, founder of Coffee Culture roastery and cafés, bringing together a love of great coffee, honest food, and proper baking under one roof.

This is a genuine lifestyle role for someone who wants to escape the grind of high-volume city kitchens and be part of a close-knit, community-focused business in a beautiful market town. You'll be involved in everything from pastry baking, tarts, cakes and savoury special options as well as bistro-style dishes using quality local and seasonal ingredients. It's all about artisan and good quality for us.

We're looking for someone who:

Has solid baking and/or kitchen experience, ideally in a bakery, café, or small bistro setting
Takes pride in consistency, quality, and presentation
Enjoys a hands-on role with variety, rather than repetitive large-scale production
Wants to be part of a team where ideas and creativity are welcomed
Is reliable, organised, and happy working early starts in a relaxed but professional environment
