We are looking for an experienced painter and decorator to join our team due to expansion. We are currently manufacturing around 1-3 luxury lodges every month with every Lodge being bespoke to the customer. 80% of our work are carried out in our workshops within a team of carpenters, plumbers, electricians etc , In the winter all the lodges are heated and comfortable to work in, Some work will be carried out on site when the lodges are delivered, if needed you will travel with our team and complete the lodge on site ready for customer handover, this is only certain models of lodge and our other decorators may cover this. Good knowledge of paints, primers, fillers is required. Over 40 and over 18 months of homes currently in order book. Some of the high end homes are £200k so a high end finish is essential.
Some of the key parts of the job:
- Caulking, Filling and sanding ready for paint
- Satin skirting, door frames and woodwork
- General painting and rolling
- All tools and equipment is supplied
- Workshop based at HR1 4HG
- Airless spraying a bonus
Pay will depend on experience.
Standard week is Monday - Friday 8-5pm
Overtime always available.
