Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces.
- Operate mechanical equipment such as excavators and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Utilise hand tools for planting, trimming, and general garden upkeep.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to promote sustainable watering practices.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with construction projects related to landscaping or outdoor structures.
- Support gardening activities, including soil preparation, planting, mulching, and pest control.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of equipment such as excavators, power tools, and irrigation systems.
- Familiarity with hand tools used in horticulture or construction environments.
- Previous involvement in construction or outdoor maintenance projects is advantageous.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and practices will be considered a strong asset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor settings under varying weather conditions.
