Role Brief
Hartley Botanic are looking for an experienced data-driven Marketing Data Analyst who has hands-on experience in marketing reporting, data analytics, business intelligence, preferably with a luxury brand and ‘mature’ customer.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their analytics career within a well-established, luxury brand. You must be analytical, methodical, and eager to learn — with the ability to communicate data clearly.
The role is office based, here at our Greenfield production facility. You will be located within our factory offices and work alongside the Marketing Team. You will report to the Marketing Coordinator.
Main duties and responsibilities
The Marketing Data Analyst will provide accurate, timely, and meaningful data insights to support smarter marketing decisions and stronger commercial outcomes at Hartley Botanic. From building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, to extracting and interpreting data from our CRM, website analytics, and internal databases.
The primary element of this role is to contribute to the development of our marketing reporting framework, delivering channel-level and business-wide performance views, identifying trends, and providing the insight needed to improve ROI and support new ‘profitable’ lead generation.
You will support the development and ongoing maintenance of our marketing dashboards and reports using Power BI, helping teams across the business access clear, reliable data. You will extract and bring together data from multiple sources — including our CRM, website analytics platforms, and internal databases — to provide an accurate picture of marketing performance.
Core Responsibilities:
· The production of regular marketing performance reports for the whole business (UK & USA) including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates across channels and the business
· Help maintain and build Power BI dashboards that give the business clear visibility of marketing performance, keeping dashboards accurate, current, and aligned.
· Carefully and accurately extract, cleanse, and analyse data from multiplesources including Power BI, CRM, website analytics, and internal databases.
· Work within the CRM to pull reports on leads, sales, conversion rates etc to support marketing activity
· Produce regular performance reports across our marketing channels — including web, social, email, organic, noting trends and flagging areas for improvement
· Help identify patterns and trends across datasets that relate to marketing performance and ROI, giving clear observations that help make practical improvements
· Produce clear charts, reports, and summaries using data visualisation tools that can be understood by colleagues with varying levels of data experience
· Stay up to date with developments in data analytics, BI tooling, and marketing technology to support continuous improvement of our analytics capabilities
Role Requirements:
· Experience in a data analytics, BI, or marketing analytics role, ideally within a luxury, premium, or considered-purchase brand
· Proven experience with Power BI — building and maintaining dashboards and reports for marketing or business reporting purposes
· Experience working with CRM platforms to extract data and report on lead and customer sales
· Understanding of digital marketing channels and the ability to analyse channel performance data (web, search, social, email, organic)
· Experience using website analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics / GA4) to analyse reports on traffic, conversions, and user behaviour
· Ability to compile, process, cleanse, and present data from multiple sources, with accuracy and confidence
· A commercial mindset understanding of how data connects to marketing performance and business outcomes
· Poses the ability to present data clearly and compellingly for both technical and non-technical audiences
· Strong organisational skills, good time management, ability to juggle multiple reporting tasks and deadlines simultaneously
· Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to present data and findings clearly to internal stakeholders with a high level of attention to detail
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team, taking ownership of tasks while supporting the wider marketing function
· A genuine interest in data, continuous improvement, and using insight to make a real commercial difference
