Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Science Teacher (Biology preferred) who understands that success in Alternative Provision begins with relationships, consistency and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Adapt curriculum delivery for SEMH learners
- Build strong, consistent relationships with students
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and progress
- Contribute to personalised learning pathways
- Work collaboratively with pastoral and outreach staff
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs or barriers to learning (desirable)
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Strong classroom management and relational practice
- Excellent attendance and reliability to provide consistency for learners
