Arrow Film & Foil Converters Ltd, a leading flexographic printing company, is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Slitter Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our slitting machines, ensuring the highest quality output and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate slitting machines to convert printed flexible packaging materials accurately and efficiently
- Perform machine setup, including selecting the correct cutting blades, adjusting tension settings, and positioning materials
- Monitor the slitting process to ensure quality, troubleshoot any issues, and make necessary adjustments
- Measure and inspect finished products for conformance to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures
- Perform routine machine maintenance, and report any issues or malfunctions to management
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a slitter operator in the flexographic printing or converting industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications, measurements, and customer requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional overtime as needed
