Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to join our team. We are open to both part-time and full-time hours for the ideal candidate. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support medication administration processes.

Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with established protocols and regulations.
Assist pharmacists in preparing and labelling medications for patients.
Provide information to patients regarding their medications, including usage, side effects, and storage.
Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy environment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care outcomes.
Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy practice.

Requirements

Must have previous experience as an accuracy checker
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in dispensing medications.
