Construction Project ManagerOverview

At Glebe Construction, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional workmanship, honest service, and high-quality construction projects that genuinely improve people’s lives. As a family-run business with traditional values and a modern approach, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our growing team.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse range of residential construction projects, with a strong focus on specialist disabled adaptations, bespoke new builds, and refurbishment works.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring every project is delivered professionally, safely, on time, and to the highest possible standards — while maintaining the personal, client-focused service that defines Glebe Construction.

We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to quality, transparency, teamwork, and customer care, and who takes pride in delivering projects that make a meaningful difference to our clients and their families.

You will be required to visit our multiple sites across Yorkshire, the Midlands and sometimes further afield.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage construction projects from inception through to completion.
Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinate effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Ensure all works are completed in line with Glebe Construction’s high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and customer care.
Monitor project progress, proactively resolving issues and adjusting resources where necessary to maintain programme targets.
Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, quality standards, and company procedures.
Maintain clear and accurate project documentation, including progress reports, variations, and client communications.
Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication across all stakeholders.
Support a collaborative, positive working culture across site teams and office staff.
Ensure projects are delivered with minimal disruption to clients, maintaining clean, organised, and professional sites at all times.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager within the residential construction sector.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, materials, and health & safety legislation.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a professional and personable approach.
Experience working within specialist adaptation, healthcare, or disability-focused projects would be highly advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard project management software.
A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and pride in delivering exceptional results.
Full UK driving licence is essential.

A mixture of office based working and visiting our sites predominantly across Yorkshire and the Midlands, sometimes further afield.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
