Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Part-Time

Location: Purbrook, Waterlooville

Contract Type: Permanent – Part-Time (Flexible Options Available)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Flexible Working Options Include:

2 or 3 full days per week — ideal if you want a set routine with full days off in between
Shorter daily hours — finishing in time for the school run, perfect if you have children of your own to collect
We're open to discussing what works best for you at interview

About the Setting:

JC Little Explorers is a thriving, activity-rich nursery with a wide range of external enrichment programmes including Boogie Mites music sessions, Forest School and Sports Coaching — making every day varied, stimulating and fun for both children and practitioners alike.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting the care, learning and development of children aged 0–5
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
Promoting a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment
Building strong, supportive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Keeping accurate observations and records of children's progress

What We're Looking For:

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities
Excellent teamwork, communication and time-management skills
A positive, reliable and caring attitude
Someone who wants to make a real difference, whatever hours they work
