Quantity Surveying Lecturer
College location: East Surrey College (Redhill)
Hourly rate: £41.80/hour (£34.83/hour + £6.97/hour as payment for annual leave)
Hours: Part Time, 3 days a week but can be flexible

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Quantity Surveying to join our team at East Surrey College and play a key role in delivering our University-awarded and RICS-accredited BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying programme.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop future talent, delivering high-quality teaching that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in the construction industry. Working closely with the Programme Manager you will contribute to the continued growth and development of this prestigious programme while creating an outstanding and engaging learning experience for students.
The position will be 3 days week but we are happy to discuss flexible delivery methods with applicants.
The successful candidate must have:
- A teaching qualification or experience of training (but we will consider candidates who are willing to work towards a formal teaching qualification)
- A current Chartered Quantity Surveyor
- Experience of delivering and assessing Quantity Surveying (ideally within an FE environment)
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying
- Academic and/or professional experience in Quantity Surveying
