We have a very unique and exciting opportunity to join sister bridal businesses The Briderie (Gowns) & Eden b. Studio (Accessories).
Working in a unique shared job role across both businesses, you will work independently and as part of a small team as a freelance Bridal Stylist for The Briderie and as a Production Assistant for Eden b. Studio.
Our perfect candidate will have a natural creative and artistic flair, with education/ experience in a creative industry such as fashion and/or bridal. For this role, sewing skills are also required.
For the Bridal Stylist part of the role, you’ll lead private appointments for brides and their guests in our Tunbridge Wells studio, creating a truly special experience from start to finish. We’re looking for someone who cares deeply about each bride’s journey and is committed to making it as meaningful and memorable.
You’ll be expected to develop an in-depth knowledge of our bridal collections and feel confident guiding brides through their choices. During fittings, you’ll be expected to think on your feet, offering thoughtful alternatives, have knowledge of possible customisations and support each bride’s needs to help bring their dress vision to life.
You must be a natural people person who is mature, confident, detail-oriented and proactive, with the initiative to deliver an exceptional level of service at every appointment.
And for the Production Assistant part of the role, you'll be working behind the scenes of the Bridal Accessories side of the business in Tonbridge, assisting in the handmade production of veils, earrings and hair accessories. Our ideal candidate will be naturally artistic with a creative eye and have meticulous attention to detail. You will be confident and able to follow a creative brief and work to tight deadlines.
Full training will be provided across both roles.
Responsibilities
- Managing the boutique on select days, confidently leading all bridal appointments with professionalism and independence
- Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of our bridal collections, providing a highly personalised one-to-one styling experience, and expertly fitting and presenting gowns
- Producing clear, concise, and detailed summaries of each appointment to ensure seamless and well-informed follow-up by the founder
- Taking accurate bridal measurements with care and precision (training provided)
- Maintaining the presentation of the boutique and gowns to an impeccable standard, including steaming and general upkeep
- Advising brides on collection details, customisations, lead times, and the overall dress ordering process with clarity and confidence
- Assisting in the production of veils, jewellery and hair accessories
- Packaging veils & accessories to be shipped to customers
Requirements:
- Proven experience within fashion retail sales is essential; prior experience in bridalwear is highly desirable
- Sewing skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and create a warm, elevated client experience
- A refined creative eye, with an instinct for styling and attention to detail
- A genuine passion for bridalwear and the wider world of luxury fashion
- Strong communication skills, paired with a polished and attentive approach to appointment follow-up
- The confidence and composure to lead appointments independently, delivering a special as well as seamless & considered experience
- Skilled in interpreting and following creative briefs for bridal accessory production
Hours:
- Two full weekdays (optional days) for the Production Assistant role in Tonbridge
- At least two Saturdays per month for the Bridal Stylist role in Tunbridge Wells. There is also the option for Sunday, weekday and Thursday evening overtime (if desired)

Job Type: Freelance
Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
