LGF COMMERCIALS are currently recruiting for a SKILLED OR SEMI SKILLED coach/commercial vehicle body builder/assembler, the individuals must be a good all-rounder, innovative and be able to think outside the box; as we are constantly looking for ways to improve the products we supply to our clients and the process’ we use.
We specialise in Luton low loaders, Luton dropwells, Dropsides, Arborist aluminium tipper trucks, overlanders/expedition trucks
we are looking for someone build these style of bodies

Responsibilities and Duties
Your duties will include but not limited:
- General assembly of bodywork
- Welding of metal work as required
- Use of cutting and bending machinery
- Good knowledge of safe working practises within a factory environment
looking for a semi/skilled commercial vehicle body builder/laboror/handyperson, applicant must be hardworking and enthusiastic and not frightened to get their hands dirty, tasks to include the below but not limited to, commercial vehicle body building, (skilled/semi skilled)valeting commercial vehicle’s to showroom standard, keeping shop floor tidy, sweeping floors, emptying bins, removing bolts from chassis to remove truck bodies, loading and unloading deliveries, driving works vehicle's around the workshop (if you have a licence), this is not essential to have a license, loading scrap metal on to van, helping other truck builders and mechanic as and when required using hand held power tools and chop saws if needed, fork lift truck if you have a license, this can be gained within the role, this is a noisy environment and PPE must be worn hours and starting and finishing times TBC but can be flexible, wage depending on experience and age from £14.00 - £15.50 PH, contact us on here or Email us at [email protected]
## Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- A valid driver's licence is preferred but not essential

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience of working as a coach/commercial vehicle body builder although training will also be given
- building of Luton low loaders or dropwells (preferred but not essential)
- GRP fabrication experience (preferred but not essential)
- Welding experience (preferred but not essential)
- Auto electrical experience (preferred but not essential)
- Good House keeping
- valeting vehicles
- Loading and unloading vehicle's

Previous coachbuilding experience is preferred, with apprentice training a distinct advantage.

Salary negotiable depending on experience age and experience

Pay: £14.00 -£15.50 per hour depending on age and experince
