Trainee Industrial Paint Sprayer

About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and hands-on Trainee Industrial Paint Sprayer to join our team within the crusher parts industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in industrial paint spraying and engineering manufacturing. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
The role involves learning how to prepare and spray paint heavy industrial components used in crushing equipment. Alongside paint spraying duties, you will assist with general labouring tasks and occasional driving duties across the business when required.
This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy workshop environment and is willing to support different areas of the business while developing new skills.
Core Responsibilities:
- Learn how to prepare crusher parts and components for painting, including cleaning, masking, and surface preparation.
- Receive training in the application of industrial coatings using spray equipment to a high standard.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure finished components meet company standards.
- Assist with general labouring duties within the workshop and yard.
- Support with loading and unloading parts and materials when required.
- Work alongside experienced team members to support other departments across the business.
- Carry out occasional driving or delivery duties (subject to licence).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and participate in ongoing training and development.

- Enjoy practical, hands-on work in a workshop environment.
- Be willing to carry out a mix of spraying, labouring, and general operational duties.
- Have good attention to detail and take pride in their work.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Remain calm and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Hold a full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
Previous experience in industrial paint spraying, manufacturing, engineering, or working with heavy steel components would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
