Your Career

This role offers the opportunity to develop your leadership and service management expertise while overseeing the day-to-day delivery of a busy Service Desk operation. You'll be responsible for managing workloads, incident queues, escalations, and team performance, ensuring service levels consistently meet agreed SLAs and KPIs.

You'll strengthen your experience in people leadership through regular coaching, performance reviews, and development planning, while also building your strategic capability by identifying service trends, analysing performance data, and driving operational improvements. Working alongside Product, Development, and Infrastructure teams, you'll play an active role in change management, service transitions, and the continual evolution of support services.

As you grow in the role, you'll further develop your expertise in ITIL best practices, service management, stakeholder engagement, and customer experience, becoming a key contributor to the ongoing success of the Support function.

Your Team

You'll lead a team of Service Desk Analysts who are passionate about delivering exceptional support and outstanding customer experiences. Working closely with the Head of Support, Product, Development, Infrastructure, and other operational teams, you'll foster a collaborative, customer-first culture where knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and teamwork are at the heart of everything you do. You'll empower your team through coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback, helping individuals develop their skills while creating a high-performing and engaged service desk.

Your Impact

Your leadership will directly influence the quality, efficiency, and reputation of the Service Desk. By ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved quickly and effectively, you'll deliver outstanding customer experiences while maintaining high levels of operational performance.

You'll take ownership of complex escalations, identify recurring issues and root causes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality, increase efficiency, and reduce future incidents. Through accurate reporting, knowledge management, and close collaboration across the business, you'll help create a more proactive, resilient, and customer-focused support operation.

Ultimately, you'll build a high-performing team that consistently delivers excellent service, embraces continuous improvement, and plays a vital role in supporting both customers and the wider business.
