About the client:

Our client is a well-established Manufacturing Company located in Northwich. They are recognised for delivering high standards of patient care and for creating a supportive, professional working environment. The practice places great importance on maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised setting for both patients and staff. They are now seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to help keep the premises in excellent condition.

Hours of work: Monday-Friday between the hours of 08.00 – 14.00 or Mon – Fri or Mon -Thurs 08.00 – 15.30 – Total hrs 30 hrs per week

Duties and Responsibilities:

Carry out basic repairs and general maintenance around the premises.
Repaint or touch up walls, doors, and other areas as needed.
Replace light bulbs and ensure lighting is in good working order.
Fix or replace door handles, locks, and other small fittings.
Move, assemble, and arrange furniture or equipment as required.
Ensure external areas are tidy and free from hazards.
Report any major repair needs to the appropriate person or contractor.
Assist site representative as and when required.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, or similar role.
Basic skills in painting, minor repairs, and general maintenance.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
Physically fit to carry out manual handling duties such as moving furniture.
A proactive approach to keeping the premises safe and well-maintained.
