About the Role
As a Costume Character, you will deliver engaging, brand-accurate performances within a fully immersive family attraction environment. The role includes performing in full-body character costumes in meet-and-greet interactions.
Your performances will be central to creating warm, memorable and high-quality experiences for every visiting family, delivered safely, consistently and in line with brand standards.
Please note: Due to costume requirements, performers must be between 5’1” and 5’3” in height.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform as full-body skin characters, including Peppa Pig, delivering physically expressive, energetic and safe performances (non-verbal)
- Confident in using body language to tell stories and connect with guests.
- Performance/drama experience (not essential).
- High energy levels and charm.
- Deliver multiple daily shows and guest interactions with consistency, professionalism and enthusiasm
- Maintain excellent show readiness, including costume care when in performance areas
- Work closely with Operations teams to follow show cues, timings and attraction procedures
- Support occasional promotional activity, including media filming and character appearances
About You
You’ll be an energetic and reliable person who thrives in a fast-paced, family-focused environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience in entertainment, theater, theme parks or immersive performance roles (preferred but not essential)
- Strong acting ability with confidence in physical performance and characterization
- Comfort performing in full-body character costumes for extended periods
- Excellent stamina, spatial and physical awareness
- Strong communication and improvisation skills, particularly when engaging young children
- A positive, guest-first mindset with strong professionalism
