Location: In Person (with parking)

Job Type: Full-time | Hours: Mon–Fri, 08:30 – 17:00

No Cold Calling
Fully Salaried Role (Not Commission-Based)

ProFormance Metals is a well-established, growing specialist stockholder of metals and plastics. We supply high-profile industries worldwide, including Motorsport, Aerospace, Defence, and Film / Television.

Our core products are used for the construction of chassis, roll cages, suspension components and full engineering parts.

Our clients range from private hobbyists restoring historic aircraft to multinational organisations building cutting-edge road and race cars.

What the Role Actually Involves
This is not an aggressive telesales role. You will be the backbone of our customer service and order processing team. Your day-to-day will focus on:

Inbound Enquiries: Handling incoming customer emails and phone calls (no cold calling).
Quoting: Preparing and issuing accurate price quotes to clients.
Order Management: Creating purchase orders for stock and coordinating with our warehouse team to ensure on-time dispatch.
Administration: Accurately checking and referencing incoming and outgoing shipping documentation.
Hands-on Support: Occasionally in the warehouse , which may involve some manual handling of metal tubes, bars, and sheets

Who we are looking for

We do not require previous sales experience—we will teach you everything you need to know about our products and bespoke stock control systems. Instead, we are looking for:
Attention to Detail: You will be dealing with specific measurements, materials, and technical specs. Accuracy is everything.
Great Communicators: A friendly, professional manner over the phone and via email.
Team Players: Reliable individuals who are willing to muck in and help the team when it gets busy.
An enthusiasm for motorsport or engineering is a massive bonus, but not essential!
