Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Birmingham, The VSP Group is a digital growth agency that helps brands stand out and scale. We work across branding, digital campaigns, paid social, influencer marketing, video production and e-commerce photography — partnering with clients in the UK, London, Dubai and Riyadh.
Content sits at the centre of everything we do. We are looking for a hands-on Videographer & Photographer to join the team full-time and own the production of high-quality visuals across our client roster and our own brand.
The role
You will plan, shoot and edit photo and video content end-to-end — from short-form social cuts and product stills to longer brand films and live event coverage. You will work closely with our creative, social and account teams, and you will be on the road regularly for shoots, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
This is a great role for a creative who already has commercial experience, has a strong portfolio, understands what works on social platforms, and wants to take ownership of a varied content output rather than be siloed on one type of project.
What you’ll do
- Plan, shoot and edit short-form video content optimised for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
- Produce brand and product photography for e-commerce, campaigns and social, both on location and in studio.
- Shoot and edit long-form video including brand films, founder interviews and YouTube content.
- Cover live events end-to-end, capture on the day and turnaround edits for same-week delivery.
- Edit and finish work in Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve and Photoshop / Lightroom, including colour grading, sound, motion graphics basics and on-screen text.
- Translate creative briefs into shot lists, treatments and storyboards, and contribute ideas in pre-production.
- Manage your own kit, lighting, audio and on-set workflow; keep media organised and backed up.
- Travel to shoot locations across the UK, primarily the Midlands, with regular trips elsewhere.
- Stay close to platform trends, formats and best practice so our content keeps performing.
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Proven previous experience as a Videographer and Photographer, in-house, at an agency, or freelancing commercially.
- Strong editing skills across video (Premiere Pro) and photo (Lightroom / Photoshop).
- Genuine understanding of social-first video, you know what makes Reels, TikToks and Shorts stop the scroll.
- A portfolio / showreel demonstrating recent commercial work across both video and photography.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel to shoots.
- Confident shooting solo, lighting, audio, framing, directing talent, and able to manage a small crew when needed.
- Right to work in the UK.
Nice to have
- Experience producing content for e-commerce, lifestyle, fashion or hospitality brands.
- Motion graphics / After Effects skills, or basic 3D / AI tools in your workflow.
- Drone footage capability (A2 CofC / GVC) and any other relevant licences.
- Experience working with influencers, talent and content creators on set.
Location & travel
This is a remote-first role open to anyone based in the UK. When we are not shooting, you can work from home. Expect regular travel for shoots, the majority will be in the Midlands, with shoots elsewhere in the UK throughout the year. Occasional international travel may be available as the role develops.

- £25,000 – £30,000 per year, depending on experience.
