This is not a remote role – you’ll be supporting learners face-to-face in classroom and workplace settings.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year’s experience in the Health & Social Care sector/Support services.
- Experience delivering training in a classroom or workplace care setting
- Teaching qualification (AET or above) is essential
- Assessor qualification (CAVA, A1, D32/33) is preferable
- Confidence, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous professional development
- Access to your own car and willingness to travel across Birmingham & the Black Country
The Role
As an Associate Trainer/Assessor, you will deliver:
- Step into Care / Level 1 Health & Social Care Training for new carers entering the industry
- Commercial training within workplaces and care homes
- Upskilling / Level 3 Health & Social Care Training for existing staff
- Stand-alone training sessions in a range of care-related topics
Responsibilities Include
- Delivering training in classroom and workplace care settings (no “death by PowerPoint”)
- Supporting learners’ knowledge and skills development and providing constructive feedback
- Helping learners make progress and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and improve training delivery
- Keeping up to date with industry standards and compliance requirements
