JOB SUMMARY

The Role: Production Operator – Skilled

The successful candidate will work the day shift within our cutting-edge production facility, to operate all aspects of our TCY / Casemaker machinery. This is a skilled role with excellent pay rates on our grading criteria.

Key Duties

Set machinery, feed and run materials and stack pallets as trained, in accordance with the specs for each job.
Resolve or report basic running issues quickly and proactively.
Communicate any issues or improvements so we can continuously improve efficiency and quality.
Safely undertake manual handling of materials and equipment, storing stereos and tools in the correct location
Proactively and appropriately and dispose of waste materials to maintain housekeeping and machine
Complete basic preventative maintenance and cleaning schedules i.e. cleaning, greasing,
Monitor jobs for quality control and address any issues that arise to maintain high-quality standards and eliminate avoidable non-conformance.
Work efficiently to achieve budgeted targets of production uptime
Operate the SFDU to ensure that set and run times or any downtime is recorded accurately.

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating and/or setting our TCY or Casemaker machinery. Previous experience of working within the corrugated cardboard industry is desirable.

They will also:

Be a punctual and reliable individual, who is flexible, willing to learn and embrace new skills.
