JOB BRIEF
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be working within the CIT department of our Slough Branch. You will be driving company vehicles to service our Client’s throughout the UK as required. Following given routes, you will be responsible for the safe collection, delivery and processing of cash and coin to and from customers premises within the customers required deadline. The role involves lifting and carrying of cash and coin. It will be your responsibility to carry out services complying with our company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and secure working environment and due diligence at all times.
You will be issued with and trained on how to use all personal protective equipment. The role will require the use of a PDA and you will be fully trained on how to do so. In addition you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of machinery within the Cash Centre along with cleaning and basic maintenance of all equipment. You will also be required to use the company computer system and full training will be provided.
You must be customer focused, methodical, professional and flexible.
It is essential that you have a valid license category B – C1 / C &CE desirable, and valid SIA CVIT License. SIA Licensing applies within the UK and you must complete the application process. The company will pay cost for suitable applicants who do not currently hold a DSIA license and should you leave, the company will deduct on a proportional basis.
You must have a minimum of 3 years Driving experience and you will be asked to provide evidence of this for insurance purposes.
UNIFORM
You will be provided with a Uniform, including PPE, helmet and Safety Footwear, which must be worn whilst on duty.
We request that you wear your normal clothing into work and when leaving work, changing rooms provided, all logos etc. are concealed for security reasons.
I.D. CARD
You will be issued with a company Operational & Non-Operational I.D. Card. You must also carry photographic I.D. at all times i.e. Driving Licence.
TRANSPORT
You will be provided with a company vehicle which will be allocated on a daily basis.
TRAINING
A full induction Training Programme will be provided. Followed by on-the-job training. You will be assessed during the training period. You will be paid for your training period.
RATE OF PAY
The current rate of pay is £16.50 per hour . You will be contracted to work a minimum of 40hrs per week.
You will be paid monthly by credit transfer to your nominated bank account.
DAYS OF WORK
Working Monday to Sunday– shift work – 4 days x 10 hrs (FULL-TIME) Trips are well planned.
or
Working Monday to Sunday– shift work – 5 days x 8 hrs (FULL-TIME) Trips are well planned.
PENSION SCHEME
After 3 months service with the Company, you will be automatically enrolled into the Company Pension Scheme (NEST), if eligible.
SICKNESS
SSP is paid for any periods of sickness within the first 12 months.
HOLIDAYS
Holiday Year is: April - March
You will be entitled 16 days (4 weeks) holiday per year. Plus 8 statutory holidays. We do work on public holidays can take it as lieu or additional payments. There is a rota so it is fairly allocated.
