Electrical Improvers / Electrical Mates Required – Commercial Projects (London)
We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Electrical Improvers / Electrical Mates to join our team and work on ongoing commercial projects across London.
There is constant work available for the right candidates, with opportunities for long-term assignments and regular projects.
Previous experience working on commercial electrical projects is preferred however, we are also open to giving opportunities to candidates who are looking to develop their skills and progress within the industry.
Requirements:
- Valid ECS Card
- Own tools
- Relevant electrical qualifications
- Good understanding of English language (speaking and reading - essential for understanding drawings and communicating with management)
- Reliable attitude and strong work ethic

Typical Duties may include:
- Carrying out containment work, including tray, trunking, conduit and cable installation
- Pulling cables and supporting with cable management
- Installing electrical accessories and equipment under supervision
- Assisting with testing and inspection works
- Reading and following drawings and site instructions
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supporting the wider site team to ensure projects are completed on time
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical standards and safety protocols.
Experience
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems gained through training or previous work experience.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc.
- Experience using power tools relevant to electrical work is desirable.
- Previous exposure to electrical installation or maintenance projects is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates eager to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team under supervision.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards.
