Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative/Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role combines hands-on warehouse activities with administrative support, ensuring the smooth operations within our storage and distribution warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess a strong organisational aptitude, practical warehouse experience, and familiarity with relevant systems and equipment. Warehouse Duties
- Manage stock levels using warehouse management system and scanners to track inventory movements accurately.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stocking, picking, and packing of goods for dispatch or storage.
- Support the load and unload of lorries or containers, ensuring items are handled safely during transfer.
- Maintain organisation within the warehouse by keeping storage areas clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure pallets are accessible to warehouse and production teams.

- Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets while adhering to safety protocols.
Administration Duties
- Coordinate dispatching of goods and transport arrangements - including preparing dispatch documents.
- Printing sales order pick sheets for warehouse team.
- Completing and communicating logistics quotations and invoices for customers
- Booking in deliveries, liaising with purchasing departments.
- Arranging pallet, parcel and courier collections.
- Liasising with haulers daily to ensure bookings are arranged and completed on time.
- Invoice Sales Orders
Qualifications/Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic knowledge of materials handling techniques, shipping & receiving procedures, and stock control processes.
- Proficiency in IT packages.

Pay: £27,976.00-£28,500.00 per year
