Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to support various construction, gardening, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical skills in landscape maintenance and horticulture, and the ability to operate a range of tools and machinery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience in construction and landscaping environments while contributing to diverse projects that require physical labour and technical knowledge.

Duties

Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, mowing, and general gardening duties
Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
Support construction activities by preparing sites, moving materials, and assisting with assembly or demolition tasks
Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency
Carry out general labouring duties including digging, lifting, carrying, and site clean-up
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met and safety standards are upheld
Assist with specialised horticultural tasks based on project requirements

Experience

Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or construction is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems is desirable
Practical understanding of site safety procedures and the use of hand tools is preferred
Experience working with horticultural or gardening equipment will be considered a plus
A proactive attitude with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team environment

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
