We are seeking dedicated Day/Night shift Loader Operators to join our team . Based at our Bellshill Facility, this role is vital in supporting our Paintshop by efficiently handling materials. Your contribution will help us uphold our standards of excellence and innovation in the construction industry.
Job Description
Steel loaders are responsible for the safe handling, storage, and dispatch of heavy steel materials within Paint Workshop. This physically demanding role involves operating heavy lifting equipment. Verifying load accuracy and ensuring all tasks strictly adhere to health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload and manoeuvre raw and finished steel products.
- Safely Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, side loaders, or shunters to move heavy steel plates, beams, or columns.
- Secure steel loads on flatbed lorries or trucks, ensuring optimal weight distribution and stability for transport
- Perform pre-dispatch quality checks identifying any surface damage, remove any masking tape before transporting
- Maintain a clean work environment and follow all Health and Safety Protocol
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating loaders or similar heavy machinery.
- Valid commercial driving license.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures .
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical fitness to handle demanding site conditions.
