Job Overview

Liberty Care at Home is a small, locally run home‑care service with a warm, supportive management team. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join us in providing high‑quality, person‑centred support to adults in their own homes. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity and well‑being, making a meaningful difference every day.

Duties

Support clients with daily living tasks including personal care, dressing and mobility
Follow personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well‑being
Assist with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
Maintain accurate, clear records of care and report any changes in clients’ conditions
Drive clients to appointments or social activities, ensuring safe and reliable transport
Communicate effectively with clients, families and healthcare professionals
Follow all health and safety and infection‑control procedures

Qualifications & Skills

Valid driving licence and confidence transporting clients
Experience in home care or care‑home settings is preferred
Understanding of personalised care planning
Good spoken and written English
Basic IT skills for recording care notes
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
A compassionate, reliable nature with a genuine desire to support independence and dignity
