JWM Plastering is looking for a motivated and reliable Plastering Improver to join our growing team on a self-employed basis.
This role is ideal for someone who already has some plastering experience and is looking to develop their skills further while working alongside experienced plasterers on domestic renovation projects.
Duties:
- Assisting with all aspects of plastering work
- Preparing backgrounds and protecting work areas
- Mixing materials and maintaining clean workspaces
- Plasterboarding and drylining
- Skimming walls and ceilings under supervision
- Patch repairs and general plastering works
- Loading and unloading materials
- Supporting the team to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard
Requirements:
- Previous plastering experience essential
- Basic knowledge of boarding and skimming
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Good communication skills
- Smart and presentable appearance
- Ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to learn and progress
