About Hatch Engineering Ltd

Hatch Engineering Ltd is a family-run steel fabrication company with over 35 years of experience. Based in Charing, Kent, we deliver high-quality structural and architectural steelwork and have maintained UKCA accreditation for more than 10 years.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Draughtsperson / Tekla Detailer to join our team.

You will produce accurate 3D models and detailed fabrication and erection drawings using Tekla Structures for a range of structural steelwork projects.

Key Responsibilities

Create 3D models and drawings in Tekla Structures
Produce fabrication and erection drawings
Check drawings for accuracy and compliance
Manage revisions and maintain drawing records
Liaise with project managers, workshop, and site teams

Requirements

Experience using Tekla Structures
Structural steel detailing experience preferred
Strong understanding of fabrication and erection processes
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence preferred
