Full job description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced PCB Assembler to join our Birmingham Production Team.

John Lilley & Gillie Ltd. are one of the leaders in the Manufacture and Design of Marine Navigation Equipment with a trading history going back over 200 years. We are an internationally respected and recognised business providing a wide range of quality products and services to the shipping industry.

Our products are designed and manufactured in our facility in Birmingham and exported throughout the world.

Duties:

Hand soldering - through-hole and surface mount PCB Assembly
Testing of electrical and electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Building of electrical and electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Building of electro-mechanical assemblies.

Skills / Experience

Previous experience of electrical/electronic assembly work, including manual soldering is required
Previous electrical and/or electro-mechanical assembly work is desired
Experience of PCB handling is essential.
Experience of Post Assembly Testing an advantage.
Computer literate and able to follow assembly and test instructions.

Reporting to Production Supervisor/ Test Technician.

Permanent Full Time.

Pay: Minimum Wage + depending on experience
