Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bricklayer Foreman to lead our bricklaying teams on commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site operations, coordinating labour and materials, maintaining high-quality workmanship, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to work alongside the team when required.
Initially required for our sites at Elsenham for Bloors Homes and Stowmarket for Hopkins Homes.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead bricklaying teams on site.
* Allocate daily workloads and ensure work is completed efficiently.
* Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
* Ensure all brickwork is completed to a high standard and complies with building regulations.
* Monitor progress and report updates to the Site Manager or Project Manager.
* Coordinate deliveries of materials and manage site resources effectively.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
* Conduct quality inspections and resolve any workmanship issues.
* Mentor and support apprentices and less experienced bricklayers.
* Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other trades.
* Maintain accurate site records, including labour, progress, and materials.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Bricklayer Foreman or Senior Bricklayer.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Bricklaying (preferred).
* Valid CSCS Card (essential).
* SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (preferred).
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
* Full UK driving licence (preferred).
